Apparently this 4 koma is getting an anime so I thought I would check it out. The basic premise is the hi-jinx of the employees of a family restaurant. Its been roughly 2 years since the last scanlations came out and after reading what has been released it is easy to see why. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it is terrible, but it isn’t all that interesting (or in this case funny).

The characters:

Generic underdeveloped slightly retarded heroine.

Later it turns out that the main character is a lolicon.

The apathetic manager is an entertaining character and probably my favorite of the bunch.

The kindly female character, why she carries around a katana, I don't know.

Probably the character that creates the most interesting parts of the manga is the androphobic girl.

To be slightly fair, it did improve considerably when the androphobic girl arrives, but from what I have available there just isn’t much to make me want to continue reading.
I am not sure why this is getting an anime. I can only assume two things. First, it will be a short anime (if not just an episode or two then 12-13 episodes) and second, that this is getting an anime at all is just another symptom of the moe nonsense that is killing the anime genre.

Touya is even more lifeless in the manga.

Longer bangs and more defined eyebrows look better!

Haruka was my favorite character in the anime. For some reason I always like the girl that is hardly even in the race for the main character. It is a shame that they changed her design for the worse in the anime.

I was a big fan of White Album season 1. The characters were great and the emotional backstabbings were awesome. I can not wait to see the fallout in season 2.
